Whether you're swapping styles, selling your favorites or cleaning out your closet with flair, here's how to make your listings stand out and help your fellow short queens shop smarter.

Lights, camera, action!

Photos are everything. Great listings start with clear, well-lit, honest images.

The must-haves

Required

At least one photo of you wearing it

Fit is everything. Seeing it on your body helps other petite shoppers know if it'll work on theirs.

3–5 photos total
  • Front and back, on a hanger
  • Details: buttons, prints, labels
  • A try-on showing the full outfit

Photo tips

  • Natural light is your BFF. Shoot near a window for the most flattering light.
  • Neutral background, focus on the fashion. Mirror selfies are welcome, just make sure the floor isn't doing the most.
  • No filters, no Photoshop. Let the clothes speak for themselves. Authenticity > Facetune.

Fit check.

Every listing should answer one question:

“Would this fit someone with a body like mine?”

  • Add your measurements to your profile. Height, inseam, bust, waist and hips. Just the essentials, promise.
  • Say if the item was altered. Had it hemmed to your 26" inseam? Took in the sleeves? Spill the tea.

“These Zara trousers are technically a size S regular, but I had them hemmed to a 26" inseam. For reference, I'm 5'2" with a 26" waist, and I wore them mid-rise.”

Give us the deets.

A good listing covers four things. Here's how they show up on a real one.

Build that profile.

Your profile is more than a username. It's your fashion fingerprint. The more you fill in, the easier it is for shoppers who share your vibe (and your inseam) to find you.
