Return Policy

It's not you, it's me. Sometimes things just don't work out, we get it! 

Lucky for you, we planned ahead for this exact situation. Read below for our full return policy.

Top Shelf Trends Return Policy

The TL;DR: 

  • All items must be returned within 7 days of arrival unless otherwise noted.

  • You will receive a full refund on the items being returned. You will not receive a refund on the shipping costs incurred, however we will not charge an additional fee for return shipping.

  • To qualify for a return, all items must be in the same condition in which you received them.

  • Final sale items are not eligible for returns.

The Details:

  • All items must be returned within 7 days of arrival

    • What this means for buyers: ​If you do not want any of the items you purchased, they must be in the mail within 7 days of arrival, so try them on ASAP and make sure you like them! Certain items may offer a longer return policy, at the sole discretion of the seller

    • What this means for sellers: Please plan for clothing items you sell to potentially be returned to you within ~2 weeks of shipping them out. You will have the option to give buyers more time to return items if you wish (you will have the option to indicate this during the listing process). You will also have the option to make items you sell "final sale", which means they cannot be returned (more information on this below).

  • You will receive a full refund on the items being returned. You will not receive a refund on the shipping costs incurred, however we will not charge an additional fee for return shipping.

    • What this means for buyers: As long as you adhere to the 7-day return policy, you will receive a full refund, including taxes, on the items that you purchased. Unfortunately at​ this time we cannot offer a refund on your shipping costs, so please keep that in mind when making your purchases.

    • What this means for sellers: To provide buyers with the flexibility to return, you will not receive the payment for your items until the return window has closed. You can always expect to receive payment within 30 days of shipping, unless you choose to extend the return window.

  • To qualify for a return, all items must be in the same condition in which you received them.

    • What this means for buyers: ​If you damage the clothing items you bought, they will no longer be eligible for return. Please DO NOT wear the items and then return them - while this tactic makes for very entertaining content in sitcoms and movies, it is ultimately disrespectful to our sellers and will not be tolerated. If the item you receive comes damaged, please indicate that before returning.

    • What this means for sellers: If an item is returned to you in a different condition than when you shipped it, please let us know by reaching out to carly@topshelftrends.co.

  • Final sale items are not eligible for returns.

    • What this means for buyers: Some items for sale may be marked "final sale". If you purchase one of these items, you will not be able to return it.​

    • What this means for sellers: You will have the option to mark an item as "final sale" when listing it, but we do not recommend this unless you are selling it at a significantly discounted price.
